We’re a family ranching operation and we’ve been ranching in the Hill Country of Texas for over 28 years. During that time we have bought and sold over 35,000 acres of ranch land. We have a full-time ranch manager, and ranch hands with all the proper equipment for building ponds, roads, house pads and clearing brush. We also have available contractors for drilling water wells, doing rock work, a feeder filling and maintenance program and anything else our landowners need… And, we’ll supervise your work to make sure you get the job done at the right price. This makes it so easy for our absentee owners, and it takes the normal headaches and worries out of ranching.
We also have a home construction company, Dominion Custom Homes, that can build houses on your land. We can even sell you the land and build you a home and have everything completed in one transaction.
We’ve had wildlife biologists that have worked with us since 1979. That helps manage the wildlife herd. We have stocked Dominion Bear Creek with superior genetic South Texas Whitetail Deer. There are native deer, turkey and exotics such as axis, fallow, elk, red stag, aoudad, as well as mountain lion and hogs. We supplemental feed and manage the entire ranch. Each landowner enjoys all the benefits of a large ranch. Landowners only hunt their own land, while using game managed quotas allotted for each owner, each year, to insure the quantity and quality of our herd. This is the same program that we have been using successfully for over twenty-five years. This program has been proven to work!
Our construction company is available exclusively for our landowners within the Dominion Ranches for home and barn construction. Since 2000, this division of Dominion Properties has built over 40 homes and barns for our owners. Our experience with site design will help the landowner with coordination of all your land plan needs and truly help “fit” your house and views to the land the way you want while minimizing any costly mistakes that go along with being new ranchers.
In addition, we have actually sold properties and built homes in packaged transactions to streamline the process and save the landowner money.
As an owner of Dominion @ Vista Ridge Ranch, landowners will have access to two guest cabins for a number of years for your exclusive use as an added amenity for owning a ranch at Dominion @ Vista Ridge Ranch. There’s no need to build a house on your land right away at Dominion when you can enjoy and entertain at either of the cabins… and we even have a maid service, so you’re not hassled with work before you go home!
Dominion @ Vista Ridge Ranch has RV hookups that are available on the Ranch until the owner gets their own utilities on their land.
